For the past year, I’ve worked as the Community Manager for AlchemyAPI, the world’s most popular natural language processing service.
I’ve done marketing and outreach for a wide variety of creative and successful companies: a digital arts school, Boulder Digital Arts, a progressive TV station, Free Speech TV, and one of the top weekly newspapers, The Stranger,
For three years, I was the Promotions Assistant at The Stranger, a weekly newspaper started by one of the founders of The Onion and nationally syndicated relationship columnist Dan Savage. I assisted with the coordination of over 12 events per year, one of which was an annual charity gala called The Genius Awards. I also managed a section of the newspaper known as the Personals where I worked to increase revenue, page views and membership.
As I am passionate about digital arts, I completed a 1-year Multimedia Certificate from Front Range Community College. I spend my free time learning new digital arts programs, taking photographs, and attending tech events in Boulder and Denver.
